If you head along the left side of the Stradun beside the side wall of the Franciscan Church (C. Medović Street), you will reach the street of Prijeko, which runs parallel to the Stradun towards the eastern side of the city. The area of Prijeko was regulated by the City Statute in 1272, and the street cuts across a regular grid of 14 steep streets leading from the rocky slope down towards the Stradun.

Prijeko features a row of houses with picturesque representative portals, balconies and windows in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles.

Today, Prijeko has the largest number of restaurants, offering a rich culinary selection.
