Day 1: Immersing Yourself in Dubrovnik's Old City
Exploring the City Walls and Stradun
Start your week at the Pile Gate, the grand entrance to Dubrovnik's Old City. Begin with a walk along the famed City Walls, a 2-kilometre circuit that offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the city's red-tiled rooftops. Climb Minčeta Tower, the highest point of the walls, for unmatched panoramas.
Descend and stroll down Stradun, Dubrovnik's limestone-paved main street, lined with historical landmarks such as the Rector's Palace and Sponza Palace. Don't miss the Franciscan Monastery, home to one of Europe's oldest working pharmacies. Or browse an art gallery or exhibition, this is a city jam-packed with culture.
Top Tip: Arrive early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the best lighting for photos.

Lunch and a Coffee Break in Lapad
Leave the bustling Old City and head to Lapad, a peaceful neighbourhood by the sea. Some of the best beaches in the region are in this suburb, so take the opportunity to dive in the Adriatic as this area has some of the best beaches.
Enjoy lunch at one of the bay front restaurants, where fresh seafood and traditional Dalmatian dishes take centre stage. Afterward, indulge in a coffee at a seaside café while soaking in the tranquil views.
Top Tip: Take your time over coffee, there's no rush you're on vacation.
