Klapa Singing in Dubrovnik
The Aklapela festival will take place from the 6th to the 8th of April 2018. The seventh edition of the festival, which nurtures original klapa multipart singing, eagerly awaits the many fans of klapa singing.
The festival is recognized by UNESCO as part of the world's non-material cultural heritage. Over the past years, the festival has welcomed many renowned klapa groups from all over Croatia. The festival is held under the artistic direction of maestro Joško Ćaleta, one of Croatia’s most renowned music authorities.
This year’s Aklapela will host twelve renowned klapa multipart singing groups: Ankora, Cesarice, Kapric, Kampaneli, Kaše, FA Linđo, Pasika, Porat, Reful, Skontradura, Subrenum and Stine.
Once again this year, the original klapa multipart singing that will be performed on the most beautiful stages of the city of Dubrovnik will once again delight many klapa enthusiasts.
