Night of Fortress at the Maritime Museum

The Dubrovnik Museums will join the cultural and tourism event Night of Fortress on Friday, May 8, 2026. As part of the program, admission to the Maritime Museum in St. John’s Fortress will be free for all visitors from 6 PM to 8 PM.

At 7 PM, museum educator and curator Bruno Bijađija will lead a guided tour of the Maritime Museum, during which he will also present the multimedia guide “The Maritime Museum in Dubrovnik.” This modern guide to Dubrovnik’s maritime history offers a dynamic and educational museum experience through an audio guide enriched with interactive content, digital displays, and elements of augmented reality (AR).

In this way, Dubrovnik’s rich maritime heritage becomes accessible to a wider audience in a modern and interactive format, providing visitors with a new and innovative museum experience.
